About the Role

As a permanent Maintenance Assistant at Cedars Care Home, you will help create the safe, secure, and attractive surroundings that enable us to give our residents the quality care and support they deserve.

Ensuring the home always makes a wonderful first impression, this varied role involves undertaking a wide range of property maintenance tasks to keep our building, facilities, and grounds looking and functioning at their absolute best all day, every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine property maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep across the care home and grounds.

• Ensure all facilities meet strict health, safety, and compliance standards.

• Conduct regular checks and preventative maintenance to keep equipment and fixtures operating smoothly.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff while ensuring minimal disruption to residents.

• Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team on a permanent part-time contract (24 hours per week).
