About the Role
We are recruiting an organised and customer-focused Housing Assistant on a permanent part-time basis (30 hours per week) on behalf of Grace Court in Folkestone, a welcoming retirement scheme focused on community, safety, and independence.
In this varied and rewarding role, you will support the day-to-day management of the scheme—handling voids, repairs, health and safety compliance, and tenant support—while ensuring residents feel safe, respected, and truly at home.
What You Will Need
Housing Experience: Previous experience working within a housing-related role.
Organisation & IT Skills: Strong administrative, planning, and record-keeping skills, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
A Customer-Focused Approach: Excellent interpersonal skills with genuine sensitivity to the needs and wellbeing of older people.
Flexibility & Proximity: A collaborative, team-oriented attitude. Ideally living within 15 miles of Folkestone (CT20 1HG) for a manageable commute. (A Level 2 Housing qualification or equivalent is desirable).
