Contract Type: Full Time (30-35 hour contract, various night shifts between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM)

The Role
As a Retail Shift Manager, you’ll help maintain high standards day after day, night after night. From motivating your team and delegating tasks to rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in, you’ll keep the store running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. You’ll reap the rewards of your hard work, enjoying the responsibility to prove yourself as a leader and find your footing for future success in a brand-new store setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Motivate and support your team, learning from leadership and company principles.
Problem Solving & Delegation: Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks effectively to keep operations on track.
Store Operations: Create an environment where colleagues can succeed, managing store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.
Inventory & Quality: Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management.
Customer Experience: Give customers the very best experience every time they visit the store.
What You’ll Need
Experience: Experience leading a sizeable team to achieve targets in a bustling, fast-paced environment.
Leadership & Delegation: The ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate your team.
Composure: Patience and a friendly manner with the ability to keep calm in any situation.

Proactive Attitude: A proactive and encouraging approach to help colleagues develop themselves and store operations.
What You’ll Receive
Competitive Pay: £15.45 - £15.95 per hour, plus an extra £2.00 per hour for bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts.
Holiday Allowance: 30–35 days’ annual holiday (pro rata).
