About the Service – Rockville

Rockville is a fully wheelchair-accessible building designed to support adults with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, mental health needs, neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries, complex medical requirements, and challenging behaviours.

Because of the physical nature of these conditions, residents require physical assistance, hoisting, and specialized moving and handling. The home focuses heavily on promoting abilities and ensuring life skills are developed in an inclusive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your core focus will be on delivering practical and emotional support while empowering independence and protecting the dignity of each resident.

Key Responsibilities:

Person-Centred Care: Deliver high-quality care tailored precisely to individual support plans.
Physical & Daily Support: Assist with everyday life skills, personal care, and physical requirements like hoisting and positioning.
Community Mobility: Accompany and enable residents to enjoy their favourite hobbies, social events, day trips, and healthcare appointments.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a supportive team and maintain accurate, detailed daily records.
Flexible Shifts: Work a rolling shift pattern that includes evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.

Who We Are Looking For

If you have a naturally warm heart, a patient ear, and a resilient, positive attitude, you will fit right into this team.

What you need to bring:

A caring, respectful, and highly reliable nature.
Great communication skills combined with basic IT and written abilities for logging reports.
The confidence to work well independently as well as part of a close-knit team.
A willingness to work towards a Level 2 in Health and Social Care (fully funded and supported).
A full UK driving licence is desirable, but not essential.
No experience? No problem! Passion matters most—full training and a structured induction program are provided.
