Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Contract Type: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week (Includes alternate weekends)
About the Role
Are you welcoming, attentive, and passionate about creating exceptional experiences for others? We are seeking a dedicated Hospitality Host / Supervisor to join the family at The Manor, a 74-bedded residential, nursing, and dementia care home in Edinburgh.
In this dynamic role—blending customer service, hospitality, and social care—you will ensure our residents and visitors experience a warm, high-quality, and friendly atmosphere every single day.
Key Responsibilities
Create a warm, welcoming, and professional environment for all residents, families, and visitors.
Assist with meal service, ensuring dietary requirements and individual preferences are catered to with care.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organization across dining and communal spaces.
Build meaningful relationships with residents and colleagues, meeting their needs with empathy and attention to detail.
Support wider hospitality and front-of-house operations as needed.
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a front-of-house role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
A genuine passion for delivering high-quality service and bringing joy to residents' lives.
