Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Alcohol Recovery Coordinator to join their dedicated alcohol team in Waltham Forest.
In this vital role, you will assess and engage with service users from the point of entry, ensuring they access the right interventions at the right time. Blending 1-1 casework with group workshop facilitation, you will help individuals navigate their treatment journeys, reduce alcohol-related harm, build resilience, and achieve meaningful, sustainable social reintegration.
Caseload & Care Management: Provide screening, comprehensive assessment, recovery planning, and onward referrals to support service users through their recovery journeys.
Group Facilitation: Design, prepare, and deliver structured content, workshops, and pods within group settings, managing group dynamics and conducting evaluations with co-facilitators.
Harm Reduction & Advocacy: Work to reduce alcohol-related harm, promote peer support and self-determination, and provide advocacy for partnership services.
Collaboration & Governance: Partner with a wide range of professionals, maintain robust information governance standards, and contribute to continuous professional development.
Experience & Knowledge: Solid understanding of substance misuse issues, working knowledge of mental health interventions, and experience working within a similar field.
Group Management Skills: Proven experience of working with groups or pods and managing group dynamics, conflict, or challenging behaviors.
Communication & IT Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills paired with strong IT competency and time management.
Requirements: Supportive, proactive team player. Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check at an enhanced level).
Annual Leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 extra day for each year of service during the first five years (up to 30 days).
