As a Senior Care Assistant, you will support and work alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, responding to changes impacting care and care plans, ensuring new needs are met, and updating written records accordingly.
Lead and participate in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
Support residents with their medication requirements.
Undertake staff supervisions and support team members with their professional development.
Act as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are handled and concerns or complaints are escalated appropriately.

Qualifications: Must hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
Skills & Attributes: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude toward nurturing residents and staff, and the flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities.
Requirements: Applicants must have proof of eligibility to work in the UK and undergo a DBS disclosure check (cost met by Avery Healthcare).
