About the Role
Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Lidl to recruit a resilient, confident, and ambitious Area Manager in Andover. In this high-impact leadership role, you will help shape the company's next stage of growth.
You will begin your journey by learning the business from the inside out—starting from the shop floor as a Customer Assistant and Store Manager to fully immerse yourself in Lidl's culture. From there, you will coordinate multiple stores, support Store Managers, hit KPIs, and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Store Visits & Operations: Regularly visit your stores to ensure everything runs like clockwork, focusing on efficiency, productivity, and operational compliance.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor and support Store Managers in recruiting, training, and developing their teams to elevate store performance.
KPI & Standard Management: Empower store teams to achieve targets and maintain Lidl's exceptionally high standards shift after shift.
Cultural Champion: Create an inclusive environment where colleagues can achieve their best work in alignment with company values.
What You’ll Need
Proven experience motivating and leading teams across multiple sites to achieve outstanding results.
The ability to interpret complex reports, implement actionable steps, and oversee new initiatives.
Drive to learn and adapt to the ever-changing aspects of a fast-paced retail business.
Effective communication skills to support store teams through launches and new concepts.
A full UK Driving Licence.
