About the Role
Are you friendly, independent, and ready to be the welcoming face of Tesco on the road? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with Tesco to recruit a dedicated Customer Delivery Driver for their Edinburgh Hermiston location.
As a delivery driver, your role is about much more than driving—it’s about helping people and delivering great service with a smile right to their doorstep. It’s a hands-on, physical, and varied role where no two shifts are the same. You will work independently out on the road while enjoying the support of a fantastic team back at base.
Required Availability Window
Contracted shifts will be scheduled within the following availability windows, with at least 3 weeks' notice provided for exact shift timings:
Sunday: 18:00 – 23:00
Tuesday: 18:00 – 23:00
Wednesday: 18:00 – 23:00
Thursday: 18:00 – 23:00
Friday: 18:00 – 23:00
Saturday: 18:00 – 23:00

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service on the Road: Deliver within the customer’s time slot, provide warm, natural service at the doorstep, and talk customers through any order changes or substitutions in a reassuring way.
Vehicle & Order Care: Keep your van, trays, and workspace clean, tidy, and organised. Complete safety checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and handle all products with care.
Teamwork: Build strong relationships with colleagues back at base to foster a great team spirit and deliver seamless service.
What We Are Looking For
Valid Driving Licence: Must hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
Warm & Welcoming: A friendly, approachable demeanor, keeping customers feeling valued and well looked after.
Adaptable: Able to respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace changes out on the road and in store.
