About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bank Housekeeping Assistant for flexible day placements at an independent mental health hospital in Stockport, Cheshire.
In this role, you will carry out a variety of cleaning and housekeeping tasks essential to creating a comfortable, safe, and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and clinical staff. Your dedication will directly impact patient well-being and support high hospital standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing a range of housekeeping, domestic, and cleaning duties across ward areas, communal spaces, and staff facilities.
Maintaining rigorous hygiene and cleanliness standards tailored to a clinical/hospital environment.
Ensuring spaces remain tidy, hygienic, safe, and welcoming at all times.
Managing cleaning supplies and equipment responsibly according to health and safety standards.
Providing flexible cover for planned or unplanned staff absences during day shifts.
