Are you an experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist with a strong background in neurology, looking for an exciting new opportunity where you will be supported to develop, excel, and make a profound difference?

Both sites deliver specialist 24-hour nursing and slow-stream rehabilitation therapies for individuals with complex, long-term neurological conditions, focusing on maximizing functional ability, comfort, and quality of life.

In this role, you will lead group and one-to-one therapy sessions, manage a designated clinical caseload, and help service users develop and improve their speech, communication, and swallowing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate specialist clinical skills in managing complex cases, cultural and linguistic differences, and generating effective caseload management strategies.

• Complete holistic assessments, plan and implement tailored interventions, and evaluate outcomes aligned with individual care plans.

• Build strong one-to-one rapport with service users to encourage engagement and empower their recovery journey.

• Utilize specialist knowledge in acquired communication and swallowing disorders (dysphagia).

• Undertake clinical audits and actively contribute to ongoing research in treatment provision.

Candidate Requirements

To excel in this agency placement, you will need:

• Current HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.

• Proven post-qualification experience managing a complex clinical caseload involving the assessment and treatment of dysphagia.

• Demonstrated experience working closely with families and multidisciplinary care networks.

• Verifiable evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
