Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with a leading specialist in cyber test ranges to recruit a skilled DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will take ownership of designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-native and on-premises infrastructure, robust deployment pipelines, and advanced automation solutions. You will work side-by-side with development teams to optimize release cycles and bake security into every stage of the lifecycle.
Note: Due to the secure nature of this work, candidates must hold a valid Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance at the time of application.
Design, implement, and maintain high-efficiency CI/CD pipelines.
Develop and maintain scalable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
Configure, manage, and optimize Linux-based infrastructure and cloud environments.
Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability frameworks.
Automate deployment and routine operational processes.
Support containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline and accelerate release processes.
Embed security practices throughout the entire software delivery lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues proactively.
Produce and maintain clear operational documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience.
Proven commercial experience (3+ years) in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Systems Engineering role.
Strong background in Linux system administration.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms and IaC tools (such as Terraform or Ansible).
Practical experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Solid understanding of core networking, security principles, and Git version control.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Security Note: To qualify for the required clearance, candidates must hold a British passport and have lived in the UK permanently for 10 years with complete travel history.
Occasional UK travel for team or customer meetings, events, and training activities.

Base Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
