Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Care Assistant to join the team at Avonbourne Care Centre (Avon Court) in Salisbury. If you prefer working nights and want to make a meaningful, positive impact on residents' lives, we want to hear from you!

Role Overview

• Position: Night Carer / Night Care Assistant

• Location: Avonbourne Care Centre, Mitre Way, Salisbury, SP4 6GW

• Pay Rate: £14.17 per hour (Mon–Fri) | £14.57 per hour (Weekends)

• Contract Type: Permanent, 12 hours per week (includes every other weekend)

• Shift Pattern: 19:15 to 07:15 (Night shifts)

• Closing Date: Monday, 31st August 2026

Located in historic Old Sarum just north of Salisbury, Avonbourne Care Centre offers an elegant, relaxing, and homely environment providing tailored support ranging from residential daily living assistance to specialist nursing and dementia care.

What You Will Be Doing

• Maintaining a wakeful watch over the security, safety, and comfort of residents and the home throughout the night.

• Supporting residents with personal care routines (washing, bathing, and bathroom support) with warmth, respect, and dignity.

• Bringing kindness and reassurance to help residents feel secure, happy, and well cared for.

• No prior experience necessary: We welcome both experienced carers and newcomers from diverse backgrounds who bring valuable life experience and a genuine passion for care.

• Great communication skills: Able to build positive, supportive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
