Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum (DOE) + £2,204.28 annual Saturday allowance

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday 06:00–15:30, Tuesday 06:00–15:30, Wednesday 06:00–10:00, Friday 06:00–15:30, Saturday 06:00–15:30)

We are proud to partner with our client as a supportive staffing agency to recruit a proactive and organized Training Compliance & Safety Officer for their agricultural team at the Ower Hatchery in Hampshire. Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety Compliance: Review, maintain, and update site risk assessments, safe systems of work, and operational procedures while conducting routine site inspections.
Audits & Incident Investigation: Support internal and external audits, investigate workplace incidents to identify root causes, and recommend effective corrective actions.
Training & Development: Coordinate and monitor site training plans, deliver engaging inductions and toolbox talks, and conduct competency assessments for the workforce.
Collaboration & Reporting: Produce compliance reports, track corrective actions, and work closely with nationwide Health & Safety colleagues to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.

What We Are Looking For
Essential Qualifications: An IOSH qualification, proven experience in delivering training or coaching colleagues, and a strong working knowledge of health and safety practices.
Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence people at all levels.
Desirable Extras: A NEBOSH qualification, internal auditing experience, or previous background working within agriculture, food production, manufacturing, or similar operational environments.
