As a Residential Senior Night Carer, you will play a pivotal leadership role on night shifts, guiding the team and ensuring that all residents receive personalized, high-quality care that respects their dignity and safety throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities:
Night Shift Leadership: Lead, train, supervise, and delegate duties effectively to care staff during night shifts.
Medication Management: Assist with the accurate administration, ordering, and recording of medication.
Care Planning & Risk Assessments: Regularly review and update individualized care plans and risk assessments.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Communicate and liaise with GPs, district nursing teams, and resident family members as required.
Person-Centred Care: Foster a safe, peaceful, and respectful environment tailored to each resident's preferences and well-being.
We are seeking a warm-hearted, compassionate leader with strong decision-making skills and a true commitment to resident care during night hours.
Requirements:
Qualification: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Experience: Proven experience in a residential care setting with demonstrated team leadership abilities.
Skills: Sound judgment, clear communication, and empathetic interpersonal skills.
Career Growth: Ambition to progress—many Senior Carers advance into Care Practitioner, Care Community Lead, or Nursing pathways.
