About the Role

We are recruiting a Bank Maintenance Assistant to provide casual, flexible cover at Tixover House Care Home.

In this role, you will play a key part in creating a safe, attractive, and comfortable environment for residents and care teams. You will ensure the building and grounds remain well-maintained and welcoming all day, every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance cover for planned absences, leave, and extra support as needed.

• Carry out routine checks, minor repairs, and general property maintenance tasks.

• Maintain high standards across the home’s interior and outdoor grounds.

• Work closely with the home's team to ensure a safe environment for all residents and visitors.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• Practical experience in general property maintenance.

• A patient, friendly, and caring nature with a genuine respect for care home residents.

• A reliable, flexible approach and readiness to tackle a variety of everyday maintenance tasks.
