About the Role
We are recruiting a reliable and caring Laundry Assistant on a permanent part-time basis (30 hours per week) on behalf of Gledhow in Leeds, a warm and friendly home dedicated to helping residents live well.
In this important role, you will help ensure residents' clothing, bedding, and linen are cleaned to a high standard while always respecting their dignity, privacy, and personal choice to maintain a comfortable, safe environment.
What You Will Need
Experience: Previous experience in laundry work is desirable, but a strong work ethic, organisation, and positive attitude matter most.
Teamwork & Organisation: The ability to follow instructions, prioritise tasks effectively, and work well within a supportive team.
Flexibility & Proximity: A positive, flexible approach to work and sensitivity to the needs of older people. Ideally living within 15 miles of Leeds (LS8 1SF) for a manageable commute.
