Salary: £28,557.79 - £32,802.41 Per Annum (CGL points 23 to 28)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit a visionary, passionate, and dedicated Prison Group Facilitator to join their team at HMP Liverpool.
In this rewarding custodial role, you will collaborate with the service lead to design and deliver evidence-based group programmes aligned with the prison regime. Supporting individuals from early contemplation of change through to sustained recovery, you will help service users address substance misuse, build individual recovery plans, and work closely with external agencies to ensure robust through-the-gate support and release planning.
Group Programme Delivery: Design and deliver a range of Psychosocial Interventions (PSI) and process-oriented group work sessions tailored to prison regime needs.
Assessments & Risk Management: Assess service user suitability for groups in terms of risk and special needs, and prepare individual recovery and treatment plans.
Throughcare & Partnership Working: Collaborate with local/regional mutual aid groups and partner agencies to create delivery opportunities inside the prison and ensure seamless release support.
Team Guidance: Support and guide team members to integrate group-work options effectively into core recovery planning.
Experience & Knowledge: Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience working within a similar support or criminal justice field (prison-based experience highly desirable).
Intervention Expertise: Practical knowledge of Psychosocial Interventions, including Motivational Interviewing (MI), CBT, and Node-link Mapping (ITEP/BTEI).
Clearances: Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain prison security clearance / HMPPS vetting, alongside completing an enhanced DBS check.
Requirements: Excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills, and the legal Right to Work in the UK.
Annual Leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 extra day for each year of service during the first five years (up to 30 days).
