Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit a dedicated and resilient permanent O2R Recovery Coordinator to join their Criminal Justice team in Walsall.
In this unique role working in partnership with West Midlands Police, you will be a key contact for individuals on the Offender to Rehab (O2R) programme—supporting prolific retail offenders with high levels of drug addiction. From initial referral and custody/court links through to community reintegration, you will build trust, deliver psychosocial interventions, and help reduce volume crime while guiding service users toward long-term recovery and stable futures.
Partnership & Liaison: Work in close partnership with West Midlands Police and stakeholders, providing a seamless link between police/court, custody suites, prisons, and the community.
Assessment & Care Planning: Provide initial assessments, screening, and individualized recovery planning, managing clients through their entire rehabilitation journey.
Psychosocial Interventions: Deliver targeted interventions to reduce disengagement, minimize substance-related harm, and address associated criminality.
Social Reintegration: Support service users in rebuilding their lives, promoting resilience, peer support, self-determination, and community involvement.
Experience & Knowledge: Strong understanding of substance misuse issues, mental health interventions, and experience working within a similar criminal justice or support field.
Core Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, robust IT proficiency, and the ability to work proactively on your own initiative.
Vetting & Security: Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain police vetting, alongside completing an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Requirements: Resilient, empathetic team player. Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK.
