Senior Care Assistant (Night)

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Belmont House for a Senior Care Assistant (Night) to join their team in Harrogate, UK.

In this role, you will lead the night care team to ensure high-quality physical, psychological, and social care is delivered to residents overnight. You will serve as a guide and role model, maintaining a safe, peaceful, and respectful environment while upholding individualised care plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead night shifts, supporting residents with personal care, hygiene, and overnight routines with compassion and dignity.

• Supervise care staff to ensure care plans are implemented effectively throughout the night.

• Maintain clear documentation and communicate key resident updates to the day team and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care with proven experience as a Senior Care Assistant in a care home setting.

• Willingness to complete Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification upon appointment if not already held.

• Strong team leadership, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills.
