Senior Care Assistant – Astbury Manor Care Home

We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join the award-winning team at Astbury Manor Care Home, operated by Avery Healthcare. In this leadership support role, you will work alongside and guide our care team to deliver exceptional personal care standards, fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
Monitor resident wellbeing closely, identifying changes in health needs, updating written records, and participating actively in the person-centred care planning and monthly evaluation process.
Support residents safely with their medication requirements.
Undertake staff supervisions and actively support colleagues with their professional development.
Act as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and external health and social care professionals, ensuring prompt action on requests and appropriate escalation of concerns or complaints.
Qualifications: Must hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in care for care homes.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical experience working within a similar care environment.
