Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Pinhoe View in Exeter to supply dedicated, skilled senior care professionals for a 12-month fixed-term assignment. Pinhoe View is a modern, purpose-built facility providing specialized mental health services across two wards and eight individual flats, supported by a full multidisciplinary team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing shifts, supporting residents through acute episodes, and leading a compassionate team to help service users lead full and valued lives.
Organize and oversee the smooth, safe running of daily shifts and care operations.
Supervise, mentor, and guide support staff, fostering a positive, inclusive team culture.
Ensure the holistic wellbeing of all service users, responding proactively to challenges or clinical concerns.
Administer medication, oversee daily reports, handle budgets, and complete financial audits and Health & Safety checks.
Collaborate with families, professionals, and the multidisciplinary team while delivering hands-on care, including personal hygiene support.
To excel in this contract agency placement, you will need:
Proven experience as a Senior Support Worker or extensive care experience within Mental Health settings.
A relevant qualification, holding an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
Demonstrated leadership skills combined with strong empathy, resilience, and a compassionate nature.
Excellent communication, organizational, and people skills, with a positive and professional approach to managing challenging behaviors.
Full-time Right to Work in the UK (please note: 20-hour Student and Skilled Worker Visas cannot be accepted for this role).
