In this key leadership position, you will lead the nursing team, oversee care planning, and ensure clinical compliance across the home. Acting as a deputy to the management team, you will collaborate with GPs and healthcare professionals while inspiring staff to deliver compassionate, high-quality individual care for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the nursing team, ensuring high standards of care planning, clinical compliance, and daily delivery.

• Deputise for the home management team and liaise with local GPs, specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Guide, support, and mentor nursing and care staff to foster a collaborative and resident-focused environment.

Requirements

• Active NMC Registered Nurse status with proven clinical leadership and staff management experience.

• Strong proficiency in writing care plans and using assessment tools like Waterlow and MUST.

• Dedicated focus on care for older people alongside strong organizational and clinical governance skills.
