This is a unique opportunity to shape the culture of a home from the ground up, creating a stable, nurtured, and therapeutic environment for four young people working through adverse childhood experiences.

The Role: Shaping the Foundation

This isn't just about "running" a home; it's about building a sanctuary. You will lead the team that turns a house into a home, setting the standards for care, therapy, and stability.

Your core responsibilities will include:

Leadership & Culture: Recruiting, leading, and motivating a stable, high-performing team to deliver consistent, extraordinary care.
Regulatory Excellence: Ensuring absolute compliance with statutory and regulatory standards—safeguarding and quality are your non-negotiables.
Advocacy: Being the unwavering voice for our young people, ensuring their needs and aspirations shine through every service plan.
Strategic Innovation: Working alongside a visible, supportive leadership team to deliver long-term strategies that transform lives.

Who You Are

We are looking for a leader who balances a practical, "hands-on" approach with the creativity to innovate in a challenging environment.

Proven Experience: A strong track record of successful work with vulnerable children and young people.
Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the statutory framework for registered children’s homes.
Qualification: You hold the QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Children’s Services (or equivalent). Note: If you have the experience but are looking for the qualification, we are happy to support you in starting this within your first six months.
Attitude: You possess a "can-do" mentality, resilience, and a genuinely person-centred approach.
