We are currently recruiting a Retail Shop Manager on behalf of a leading national food-on-the-go retailer known for its energetic team culture, supportive workplace environment, and excellent employee perks.
About the Role
As a Shop Manager, you will take full ownership of the store, driving high operational standards and motivating your team to deliver exceptional service. You will lead by example across all customer channels—in-shop, Click & Collect, delivery, and drive-thru—ensuring a welcoming, efficient environment for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
Store Leadership: Lead and engage your team to maintain high shop standards and achieve great commercial results.
People Management: Drive performance through recruitment, hands-on training, ongoing colleague development, and strong team engagement.
Financial & Operational Controls: Monitor key performance indicators, including wage controls, waste management, and customer service metrics.
Hands-on Support: Roll up your sleeves during peak hours to assist in food preparation, oven management, and customer service.
Store Presentation: Ensure the store remains clean, vibrant, well-stocked, and safe for both colleagues and customers.
Candidate Requirements
Management Experience: Proven track record as a Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Line Manager within retail or food-on-the-go environments.
Customer Service Focus: Extensive experience in delivering high-volume customer service and driving store standards.
Team Development: Strong track record of mentoring, training, and developing team members.
