We are partnering with Harts House Care Home in London—a wonderful facility holding a "Good" CQC rating and a 9/10 score on carehome.co.uk—to find an enthusiastic and passionate Bank Kitchen Assistant. At Harts House, the kitchen team provides the magic behind every delicious dish, ensuring residents enjoy an exceptional dining experience as part of a supportive, vibrant community.
As a Bank Kitchen Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will act as the vital link between the main kitchen and our residents. You will assist chefs with plating meals, preparing food trolleys, keeping preparation areas spotless, and supporting special events like summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the welcoming link between the main kitchen and the residents.
Assist chefs in plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and ensuring all preparation areas are kept clean, tidy, and hygienic.
Monitor stock rotation carefully, complying with company policies and mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
Assist with catering for special events and seasonal celebrations, including summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
What We Are Looking For
A genuine passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen environment and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
A strong commitment to maintaining high standards, ensuring residents enjoy a pleasant, comforting dining experience.
Excellent communication skills, an approachable nature, and a readiness to cherish the little moments connecting with residents.
