Recovery Support Worker

Turning Point is recruiting a Recovery Support Worker in London to support adults with mental health problems and complex needs, including people affected by drug and alcohol use. You will give personal, flexible and realistic support that helps people reduce isolation, become more independent, learn new skills and take part in their community.

What you would do:

• Provide recovery-focused support in line with each person's support plan
• Help with personal care and domestic tasks where needed
• Support people to use local resources and educational and social opportunities
• Work with each person's circle of support to plan towards their goals
• Liaise with other professionals

• Previous experience is desirable but not essential, and personal interests such as sport, arts, music or cooking are welcomed

Hours: a permanent, full-time role of 37 hours per week on a rota that includes evenings and weekends.

Pay and benefits: £28,405 per year, including £3,633 inner London weighting. Turning Point states 29 days' paid holiday a year, rising to 31 with service, with the option to buy more.
