About the Role
As a Bank Residential Senior Carer, you will take a hands-on leadership role in delivering quality, person-centred care and support. You will lead a dedicated team of care staff on shift—handling training, supervisions, and task delegation.
Your responsibilities will also include administering and ordering medication, updating resident care plans and risk assessments, and liaising closely with GPs, district nursing teams, and resident families while ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and delegate duties to the care team during shifts.
Administer and order medication safely in line with guidelines.
Review, update, and manage resident care plans and risk assessments.
Liaise professionally with healthcare professionals (GPs, district nurses) and families.
Create a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment that prioritizes resident wellbeing.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Experience: Previous experience working within a residential care setting.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a team, make sound decisions, and guide staff.

Flexibility: Available on a bank contract basis to provide cover as needed (e.g., annual leave or sick leave).
