As a Senior Care Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will take day-to-day responsibility for running a unit. You will drive, inspire, and develop a team of Care Assistants while assisting with clinical duties, digital care records, and building meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and external healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Take day-to-day responsibility for running a unit and managing shift handovers for the care team.
Assist with clinical duties, including helping nurses observe and issue medication, review care plans, and maintain accurate records.
Lead, drive, and mentor a team of Care Assistants, helping with the training and supervision of new staff members.
Build strong, lasting relationships with residents, their families, and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses.
Assist residents directly with a range of personal care duties, ensuring dignity and choice at all times.
What We Are Looking For
Completed or working towards an NVQ Level 3 in Care (full support provided if needed).
A motivated, positive, and enthusiastic team player with fantastic interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in a senior care role with a deep understanding of its rewards and challenges.
