Are you a confident, professional individual who takes pride in safeguarding people and stores while maintaining a friendly customer service approach? Acting as Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are proud to partner with B&M to recruit a dedicated Security Officer for their store in Selby.
In this trusted, hands-on role, you will work closely with the Store Management Team to protect stock, prevent loss, manage operational risk, and champion high standards of safety and security.
Key Responsibilities
Store Surveillance: Actively monitor the shop floor to spot, prevent, and report security incidents.
CCTV Operations: Safely operate and review CCTV footage in line with company policies.
Health & Safety Compliance: Support the enforcement and maintenance of safety procedures across the store.
Incident Investigations: Conduct professional investigations into stock loss, theft, and fraudulent activity.
De-escalation & Engagement: Interact calmly and effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve tense situations.
