At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are recruiting a Bank Senior Care Assistant on behalf of Barchester Healthcare to join the team at Silverbirch House Care Home in Guildford.
In this flexible leadership role, you will work alongside the Deputy General Manager to supervise, support, and inspire our team of Care Assistants. You will play a crucial clinical support role—assisting with medication administration, care assessments, reviews, and care plans—while ensuring every resident receives dignified, personalized care.
Key Responsibilities
Shift Leadership: Supervise and motivate the shift team of Care Assistants to uphold high standards of person-centered care.
Clinical & Administrative Support: Support the clinical team with medication management, care assessments, risk assessments, and care plan reviews.
Dignity & Choice: Maintain a warm, welcoming environment that respects each resident's individual choices, independence, and dignity.
Flexible Cover: Step in flexibly to provide key cover during peak periods, annual leave, or staff sickness across day or night shifts.
About You
Qualifications: NVQ / SVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care (Essential).
Clinical Knowledge: Strong background in elderly care with specific knowledge of clinical care processes.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to delegate, guide, and inspire care team members on shift.
Qualities: Warm-hearted, compassionate, and dedicated to delivering personalized care to residents.
