About the Role
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant to join the award-winning team at Greenholme House Care Home, operated by Avery Healthcare. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing our residents' daily dining experiences by delivering attentive front-of-house service, assisting residents with their meal choices, and maintaining a welcoming, pristine dining and bistro environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily dining services and assist residents with their meals, ensuring individual dietary requirements are closely observed.
Help residents choose their meal options at the time of dining with a compassionate, patient approach.
Ensure dining tables are properly set in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Keep the front-of-house and bistro areas clean, tidy, and well-presented, regularly clearing crockery and replenishing fresh homemade snacks, finger foods, and fruit options throughout the day.
Candidate Requirements
Certifications & Standards: Maintain high standards of personal hygiene; a basic Food Hygiene Certificate is highly beneficial.
Experience: Previous experience working in a similar care setting, restaurant, or hotel environment is desirable.
