About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Bank Practice Nurse to join the primary care team at Integrated Care 24 (IC24) based at Herstmonceux Integrative Health Centre. In this flexible bank role, you will use your broad clinical expertise across a wide range of primary care responsibilities, helping patients access the right care at the right time while supporting preventative healthcare and long-term outcomes in the local community.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care across diverse clinics, handling acute needs, routine treatments, and preventative health checks.
Manage long-term chronic conditions such as asthma, COPD, and diabetes through structured reviews and patient self-management support.
Administer adult and childhood immunizations, travel health vaccinations, cervical screenings, and smoking cessation advice.
Perform clinical procedures including wound care and assessment, phlebotomy, ECGs, blood pressure monitoring, and spirometry.
Collaborate closely with GPs, practice nurses, healthcare assistants, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a current, valid UK NMC registration.
Experience: Previous clinical experience working within General Practice or Primary Care, with proven skills in immunizations, health promotion, and chronic disease management.
Skills & Attributes: Confident working autonomously while knowing when to seek support, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centred care.
