The Role
As a Lidl Area Manager, you’ll be one of the future leaders, helping drive the business into its next stage of growth. You’ll begin your journey by learning the business from the inside out—from stacking shelves as a Customer Assistant to leading from the shop floor as a Store Manager—ensuring you are fully immersed in all things Lidl.
Before you know it, you'll be coordinating multiple stores, supporting Store Managers to guide their teams, hitting KPIs, and delivering your best work.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Visits: Regularly visit your stores to make sure things run like clockwork, paying attention to efficiency, productivity, and operational compliance.
Mentorship: Support and mentor Store Managers in recruiting, training, and developing their teams while improving store performance.
Empowerment: Empower your teams to achieve KPIs and maintain high company standards.
Leadership Culture: Confidently create an environment where teams can do their best work in accordance with Leadership & Company Values.
What You’ll Need
Experience: Experience motivating and leading teams across multiple sites to achieve outstanding results.
Analytical Skills: The ability to understand complex reports, implement next steps, and oversee the effectiveness of new initiatives.
Drive & Adaptability: A strong drive to learn and keep up to date with the ever-changing aspects of the business.
Communication: Effective communication skills to support teams with new launches, concepts, and processes.
Driving Licence: A full UK Driving Licence.
What You’ll Receive
Competitive Salary: £66,000 - £94,000 per annum based on equal opportunity and pay structures.
Holiday Allowance: 35 days’ holiday (pro rata).
