Are you friendly, community-focused, and looking for a rewarding retail opportunity with steady hours? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Co-op to recruit a dedicated Customer Team Member for their store on George Street in Plymouth.

In this role, you will be the welcoming face of the store, delivering exceptional customer service on the shop floor and tills. Whether you are restocking shelves, guiding customers, or helping out with daily store operations, you'll play a vital role in making life easier for local shoppers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, thoughtful service and respond to customer queries.

• Assist customers on the tills and work hands-on across the shop floor.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and legal store environment (stock rotation, price checks, and date/temperature controls).

• Promote Co-op Membership and support your local community.

• Work collaboratively with your store colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.

What We Are Looking For

• Age Requirement: Must be aged 18 or over (due to early morning/late evening shift requirements or business needs).

• Flexibility & Working Pattern: A mix of opening, closing, and mid-day shifts, with flexibility across the week including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift (either Friday after 6:00 PM, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday).

• People Skills: A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.

• Positive Attitude: An interest in retail, a busy store environment, and a proactive approach to teamwork (experience is not essential).
