The Role
As a Care Assistant, you will be right at the heart of our home, providing vital person-centred care that supports independence, honours choice, and ensures our residents feel valued and safe every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Support residents with a wide range of requirements, from companionship and personal care to mobility assistance.
Observe and manage resident wellbeing, documenting and reporting any changes in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plans.
Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through engaging social and recreational activities, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date care plans in line with regulatory standards.
What We Are Looking For
A motivated, positive individual with great interpersonal skills and a natural knack for communication.
The ability to work seamlessly both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Desirable: Previous experience working in a care home environment or a relevant Health and Social Care qualification (though full training and support are provided).
