As a Bank Housekeeping Assistant at West Abbey Care Centre, you will help create a warm, welcoming, and homely environment that enables us to meet each resident’s unique needs.

Keeping the home clean, safe, and pristine is essential. Working flexibly to cover leave or sickness, the variety of housekeeping and cleaning tasks you carry out will ensure residents, visitors, and staff enjoy a tidy and comfortable environment, allowing you to make a direct, positive impact every single day.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive daily cleaning, tidying, and housekeeping tasks across the care centre.

• Ensure all communal areas, bedrooms, and facilities meet the highest hygiene and safety standards.

• Support infection control measures and maintain a safe environment for residents and visitors.

• Interact warmly with residents, creating a pleasant and supportive atmosphere.

• Provide flexible bank cover to support the team as and when required.
