About the Role

We are recruiting a Bank Activities Assistant / Coordinator on a flexible 0-hour contract to provide activity cover (annual leave, sickness, and rota gaps) at Lawton Manor Care Home in Stoke on Trent.

In this inspiring and creative role, you will help design and deliver tailored activity programmes that enrich the daily lives of residents. Offering complete schedule flexibility on day shifts, you will get to know residents and their families, organizing fun, motivational, and stimulating events that promote wellbeing, independence, and social connection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging social, creative, and physical activity programmes suited to varied resident abilities and interests.

• Spend time getting to know residents personally to create tailored enrichment plans.

• Organize events, group activities, and celebrations both inside the care home and within the local community.

• Encourage resident participation while building warm, supportive relationships with residents and families.

• Provide flexible activity cover for planned leave, sickness, and peak operational periods.

About You
