Bank Catering Assistant

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Elysium Healthcare for a Bank Catering Assistant to join The Limes in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, UK.

As part of the catering team, you will support the preparation and serving of nutritious meals while maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards in a specialist mental health service.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and serving of meals for service users, staff and visitors.
Support chefs with daily kitchen operations.
Maintain food storage procedures and stock rotation.
Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are cleaned and sanitised.
Follow COSHH, HACCP and food hygiene regulations.
Assist with deliveries and stock organisation.
Work alongside dietitians and the multidisciplinary team to meet dietary requirements.
Maintain a safe, clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a catering or kitchen assistant role.
Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP principles.
Relevant catering qualification (desirable).
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Flexible approach to working bank shifts.
