About the Role
At Barchester Healthcare, the ethos is all about celebrating life. As an Activities Coordinator, you will spend time getting to know residents and their families to design and deliver imaginative, tailored activity schedules that enhance wellbeing, independence, and social engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Design: Develop and run engaging, motivational, and inclusive activities tailored to varying interests and abilities.
Personalized Connection: Build deep relationships with residents and their families to understand their unique life stories and hobbies.
Community Engagement: Organize internal events and local community outings to keep residents connected and active.
Team Collaboration: Work with care, kitchen, and management staff to inspire participation across the home.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter with a warm, empathetic nature and a talent for making things happen.
Requirements:
Attributes: Warm, empathetic, personable, and naturally organized with infectious enthusiasm.
Creativity & Drive: A creative approach to problem-solving and a passion for inspiring others.
Experience: Similar experience in activity planning or care settings is beneficial but not essential—full training is provided!
