About the Role

As a permanent Care Assistant at Wadhurst Manor Care Home, you will help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve.

Working across a full-time contract (44 hours per week), you will assist with daily living, provide support and companionship, and share great moments and memories. Every day will be varied and rewarding—whether you are supporting residents with their food and drink, following personalized care plans, or ensuring dedicated one-to-one time.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, person-centred support with daily living and personal care.

• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional wellbeing.

• Follow tailored care plans and ensure individual dignity, independence, and choices are respected.

• Spend quality one-to-one time with residents, offering meaningful companionship.

• Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team on a permanent full-time contract (44 hours/week on days or nights).

• Experience: Some prior experience of caring for older people.
