In this key leadership role, you will guide care staff during shifts while working alongside Care Assistants to deliver exceptional care to residents. You will manage care planning, conduct risk assessments, oversee medication administration, and collaborate with multidisciplinary health teams and family members to ensure optimal resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead daily shifts, delegate responsibilities, and work directly with care staff to support residents' daily living activities.

• Act as a case manager for residents, maintaining detailed care plans and coordinating with families and healthcare professionals.

• Administer medications safely, complete risk assessments, and partner with senior management to enhance service quality.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable) along with demonstrated experience supervising or leading a care team.

• Strong organizational, delegation, and IT skills paired with a solid working knowledge of care planning procedures.

• Experience in medication administration (or a commitment to undergoing full training) and a compassionate, resident-first approach.
