Role Overview
Position: Senior Carer / Care Leader
Location: Gregory House, Welby Gardens, Grantham, NG31 8BN
Pay Rate: £14.62 per hour (Higher weekend rates available)
Contract Type: Fixed-term, 24 hours per week
Closing Date: Monday, 31st August 2026

Located in a quiet residential area a short distance from Grantham town centre, Gregory House is surrounded by well-established grounds and an attractive courtyard. It offers outstanding residential and day care to its 31 residents in a nurturing, engaging environment.
What You Will Be Doing
Leading a small team of carers to deliver exceptional, person-centered care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence.
Reviewing and managing care plans through continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Acting as a positive role model, motivating your team, and supporting staff inductions and 1-to-1s.
Balancing team leadership with direct resident wellbeing support, using your initiative to resolve queries and handle problems effectively.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or NVQ Level 2 with a willingness to study for Level 3).
Experience: Previous experience working in a residential care setting (supervisory experience is a bonus, but not essential).
Key Traits: Excellent communication skills, a natural ability to connect with others, and the confidence to take charge and motivate a team.
