Data Protection Analyst

As a Data Protection Analyst, you will coordinate day-to-day privacy compliance activities, including Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and personal data incident management. By delivering practical advice to stakeholders, reviewing third-party processing agreements, and producing compliance metrics, you will help champion a culture of accountability and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate Data Subject Rights Requests (DSARs, erasure, rectification) to ensure responses are accurate and completed within statutory deadlines.

• Assist with privacy assessments (DPIAs, PIAs, LIAs), personal data breach investigations, and third-party data processing reviews.

• Support the continuous improvement of the Data Protection Framework, maintaining accurate records, compliance registers, and reporting dashboards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Data Protection, Privacy, Information Governance, Compliance, or Risk role.

• Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and practical experience handling DSARs and DPIAs.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (IAPP or BCS data protection certification is desirable).
