Position: Customer Team Member (Part-Time / Permanent)

Location: Springfield Garage Woodhouse Lane, Wigan, WN6 7LW

Pay Rate: £13.04 per hour

Hours: 16 hours per week + regular overtime opportunities

About the Role

Are you looking for a flexible part-time role with a supportive, community-driven employer? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with the Co-op to recruit friendly, energetic Customer Team Members for their busy store in Wigan.

In this role, you’ll be the friendly face of the store, helping to deliver essential services and a fantastic shopping experience to the local community. Whether you're on the shop floor, operating tills, keeping shelves stocked, or helping out with store operations, no two days are the same!

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering Great Service: Providing warm, helpful, and thoughtful customer service and helping put things right when needed.

• Store Operations: Working hands-on on the shop floor and tills to keep the store running smoothly, safely, and legally.

• Merchandising & Stock: Keeping shelves well-stocked, checking prices, monitoring dates, and ensuring stock accuracy.

• Community & Membership: Promoting Co-op Membership and supporting local community initiatives.

Working Pattern & Requirements

• Hours: 16 hours per week on a permanent contract, with regular opportunities for overtime.

• Shifts: Closing shifts from 2:00 PM through to 11:00 PM, including at least one weekend shift with flexible availability.

• Age Requirement: You must be aged 18 or over for this role as it may involve working before 6:00 AM or after 10:00 PM.

• Commutability: Applicants must live within a commutable distance of Wigan.

• Experience: Retail experience is not essential—full, paid training is provided!
