As a Senior Care Assistant, you will combine direct personal care with team leadership responsibilities during day shifts. You will oversee care delivery, support team development, and maintain high operational standards to create a compassionate and secure home environment for all residents.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and support care staff during daily shift routines.
Administer person-centered care, including mobility, personal hygiene, and mealtime support.
Assist with care planning and ensure accurate documentation of resident wellbeing.
Requirements
NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (with willingness to achieve Level 3).
Proven experience working as a Senior Care Assistant in a care home environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with valid right to work in the UK.
