We are excited to represent Avery Healthcare in their search for a warm, enthusiastic, and meticulous Housekeeping Assistant on a flexible bank contract to join the award-winning team at Silvermere Care Home in Cobham.
The Role
Are you passionate about maintaining pristine environments and upholding hotel-service standards? As a Housekeeping Assistant, your primary focus will be working as part of a collaborative team to ensure that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are impeccably maintained across the home in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out all cleaning duties diligently in accordance with worksheet instructions.
Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, as well as the proper use of cleaning products, to ensure all areas remain well-presented and in excellent condition.
Ensuring that all residents are treated with utmost dignity and respect, always safeguarding their personal space and belongings.

Requirements:
Good knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
Experience in cleaning and laundry within a public or professional setting.
A compassionate approach and a strong commitment to delivering a high-quality housekeeping and laundry service to residents.
Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Requirements for Employment: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS Disclosure check (the cost of which is fully covered by Avery Healthcare).
