Kitchen Assistant

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for a Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Oak Lodge Care Home in Southampton, UK. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for food and excellent customer service to support the kitchen team in delivering nutritious, high-quality meals for residents. You will help maintain a welcoming dining experience while ensuring food preparation and hygiene standards are consistently met.

• Support chefs with meal preparation, plating, and serving while ensuring preparation areas remain clean and organised.

• Monitor stock rotation and maintain compliance with food hygiene, COSHH, and HACCP procedures.

• Assist with catering for seasonal events and special occasions within the care home.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen experience and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

• Good communication skills with a passion for providing excellent service.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining high cleanliness standards.
