Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit an experienced Independent Non-Medical Prescriber to join their Nottinghamshire service.
In this vital role, you will use your clinical expertise where it has a lasting impact, working alongside recovery coordinators, doctors, and multidisciplinary colleagues. You will support people affected by drug and alcohol use by providing high-quality assessments, comprehensive prescribing, and personalised treatment reviews that promote health, safety, and long-term recovery.
Clinical Assessments & Prescribing: Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and prescribe, review, and optimise medications in line with national guidance and evidence-based practice.
Holistic Care & Harm Reduction: Support individuals with complex physical health, mental health, and substance use needs while actively promoting harm reduction and health improvement.
Service Development: Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and the ongoing development of the prescribing service.
Collaboration: Act as a clinical expert and advisor to colleagues, partner organisations, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, person-centred care.
Professional Registration: Current registration with the NMC or GPhC.
Qualification: Independent Non-Medical Prescriber qualification.
Experience: Recent, relevant experience working within drug and alcohol treatment services.
Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of prescribing practice, harm reduction, and recovery-focused care, coupled with the confidence to manage complex clinical presentations and build strong professional relationships.
