We are excited to represent Avery Healthcare in their search for a dedicated Care Assistant (Nights) to join the award-winning team at Acacia Mews Care Home in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
The Role
Are you a warm, enthusiastic individual looking to make a meaningful difference during the night shift? Your focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the night care team to ensure continuity of compassionate, high-quality support and safety for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting residents with personal hygiene and care while ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
Recognizing and understanding clinical risk areas—such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, or signs of infection—and escalating any identified risks in a timely manner.
Acting courteously and respectfully toward residents and visitors, upholding the individuality of every resident.
Practicing safe systems of work across a wide range of daily care tasks.

Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Initiative, respect, and efficiency when carrying out instructions from team members.
Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS Disclosure check (the cost of which is fully covered by Avery Healthcare).
